Day 1   Mumbai Tbilisi Flight

 

Welcome to Tbilisi

Georgia Armenia  tour Scheduled  Ex Mumbai Airport from Terminal 2  Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, as per the respective flight departure time to proceed to Tbilisi – the capital and the largest city of Georgia.

On your arrival at the Tbilisi airport, Rankars Yes Travel World Private Limited Representative with driver will meet you and they will guide with airport formalities and lead the way into the city.

(Kindly note that the standard hotel check-in time is typically at 15:00 hrs onwards but may vary depending on the hotel's policy


Today we explore the capital city of Georgia Tbilisi. In the orientation tour we take a walking tour of the Old town, we pass by Tbilisi Sulphur pools, Bridge of Love, Bridge of Peace, Tbilisi Fortress, Tbilisi Clock Tower, Freedom Square and Rustaveli Avenue. Further we take a Cable car ride to Mother of Georgia viewpoint. The statue represents the strength of Georgia, in her left hand she holds a bowl of wine to greet those who come as friends, and in her right hand is a sword for those who come as enemies. The viewpoint offers views of the entire city of Georgia. Later we visit Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi commonly known as Tsminda Sameba is the symbol of new Georgia, isn’t just a magnificent architectural marvel; it’s a beacon of faith, history, and national pride. This colossal structure, with its gleaming golden dome piercing the sky, has become synonymous with the city itself, captivating visitors with its grandeur and spiritual aura.

Day 02 - Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Tblilisi

 

Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Tblilisi ( Jvari Monastery - Chateau Mukhrani )

After breakfast in your hotel, we proceed to the ancient city of Mtskheta - former capital of the early Georgian Kingdom of Iberia.

Upon arrival we visit Jvari Monastery - one of the most important architectural, historical and religious monuments in Georgia. Later we proceed to Chateau Mukhrani – founded on the tradition of winemaking in the Mukhrani area of Georgia is the first Georgian Royal Chateau and the only Chateau to unite four key components: The Vineyard, the Winery, the Chateau and the Winemaking history. Here we learn about the traditions of Georgian wine making, unique Kartli grape varieties grown in the vineyards, as well as modern wine making techniques used when crafting the finest Château Mukhrani wines. Further we return back to Tblilisi.

Day 03 - Tbilisi: Old City Sameba Chronicles of Georgia

Highlights:

After Breakfast in your Hotel you will be visiting Old City  The tour covers the key highlights of Tbilisi. If you travel in Tbilisi for the first time the tour is definitely for you. We will visit cultural highlights that offer beautiful views, a certified tour guide will explain historical value of the places and will take memorable photos of you. Metekhi Cathedral

The historical heart of the city, Metekhi is the place from where King Vakhtang started to develop the new capital erecting the first church on top of the hill in the 5th century. It offers amazing views to Old Tbilisi.

Shardeni Street is a small walking street in Tbilisi. It has always been one of the centers of cultural and social life in Tbilisi. There are still many art galleries, salons of vitreous enamel and other handmade items, as well as bars and restaurants in Shardeni. It is one of the most popular, crowded, interesting and attractive places in Tbilisi.

The Peace Bridge is located on the Mtkvari River in Tbilisi. The Peace Bridge has become one of the symbols of renewed Tbilisi. It was officially opened on May 6, 2010. The architect of the bridge is Michele de Luca.

Jvari Church

In the morning at 10:00 am meet the guide and the driver near Big Bicycle Monument and start driving to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia. Standing on the top of the hill, it overlooks the town of Mtskheta and the confluence of two rivers Aragvi and Mtkvari.

Abanotubani

Abanotubani is the ancient district of Tbilisi, Georgia, known for its sulphuric baths. Located at the eastern bank of the Mtkvari River at the foot of Narikala fort across Metekhisubani, Abanotubani is an important historic part of the city: it is where according to a legend the King of Iberia, Vakhtang Gorgasali’s falcon fell, leading to a discovery of the hot springs and, subsequently, to the founding of new capital.

Mercer House, now called the Mercer Williams House Museum, is located at 429 Bull Street in Savannah, Georgia.[3] Completed in 1868, it stands at the southwestern corner of Monterey Square. The house was the scene of the 1981 shooting death of Danny Hansford by the home's owner Jim Williams, a story that is retold in the 1994 John Berendt book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum

Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum features nine galleries of ship models, maritime paintings, and artifacts. The vast majority of ship models were commissioned by the Museum to interpret Savannah's rich maritime history.
